Inc. consulting services. Our consultants are
all members of the Association of Canadian Ergonomists
(ACE). They include professionals with backgrounds in
Kinesiology, Physical Therapy, and Occupational Therapy.
Senior Consultant, Diane Stinson, is a Canadian Certified
Professional Ergonomist (CCPE).
Karen Martino B.Sc. P.T.
Karen has a B.Sc. in Physiotherapy from the University of Toronto and an Occupational Health and Safety Certificate from the University of Alberta. She has over 16 years of clinical experience as a Physiotherapist assessing and treating musculoskeletal injuries. Karen has worked with HealthWorks Inc. since 2003, during which time she has been involved in various aspects of work place health and safety, including office and industrial ergonomic assessments, seminars, and customized HealthWorks training programs.
Jolene Kober, BMR (PT), M.SC.
Jolene is a licensed Physiotherapist with a Master's degree in Medical Rehabilitation, focusing on human dynamics and biomechanics. She has 6 years experience performing physical demand assessments in a variety of environments, as well as assisting organizations with the development of disability management programs. Jolene has worked extensively with several large organizations creating PDA databases tailored for their organizations' disability management programs. Jolene has been working with HealthWorks Inc. since 2007 conducting office assessments, working on special projects, and providing HealthWorks ergonomics seminars.
Joan Warrington, B.Sc. P.T., CHT
Joan is a physiotherapist who has specialized in hand therapy. Within this specialization she has a special interest in upper extremity cumulative trauma disorders (e.g. "RSI"). Joan has an extensive clinical background assessing and treating musculoskeletal injuries and has treated clients for over 15 years. She has been working with HealthWorks Inc. since 2008, providing her expertise to prevent many of the conditions she has seen and treated clinically.
Marnie Lee, B.A., B.Sc. OT(c)
Marnie has a B.Sc. in Occupational Therapy as well as a B.A. in Psychology. Both degrees were obtained from the University of Alberta. She has 10 years of clinical experience as an Occupational Therapist. She has assessed and treated clients whose diagnosis range from hand injuries and orthopedic conditions, to clients who have sustained a brain injury or stroke. Marnie has been conducting office ergonomic assessments for the past 2.5 years and has been working with HealthWorks Inc. since 2009.
